1. Who we are
Admisly is a product of Quant Terminal LLC, a Wyoming limited liability
company ("Admisly," "we," "us"). You can reach us at
AdmislyEducation@gmail.com, and the
service lives at https://admisly.com.
In these terms, "you" means the person using the account. If you're under 18, "you"
also includes the parent or guardian who agreed to let you use Admisly — see
section 3.
2. What Admisly is (and isn't)
Admisly is a paid web app that uses AI to help you plan for college applications. It includes:
- Blueprint — an honest assessment, a spike narrative, a course map, activities to keep, cut, or start, awards with deadlines, a reach/target/safety school list, and a semester timeline.
- Counselor chat — questions answered any time of day.
- Study Lab — upload a PDF, Word doc, slide deck, pasted text, or a recorded lecture transcript, and get notes, flashcards, and quizzes.
- Test Prep — study plans, lessons, cheat sheets, and study sets for SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, and AP exams.
- Essay Lab — a writing guide and feedback on drafts you write.
- Activities and awards ideas — suggestions generated for your profile.
- Radar — admissions events, fee waivers, and demonstrated-interest policies.
What Admisly is not: it is not a human college counselor, not an agent or representative
of any college, not affiliated with the College Board, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, or any testing
organization or university, and not a service that fills out or submits applications for
you. We don't have inside access to any admissions office.
We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, test scores, grades, or any other
result. Anyone who promises you those things is not being straight with you.
3. Who can use Admisly — including students under 18
Under 13: not permitted
Admisly is not for children under 13. If you are under 13, you may not
create an account or use Admisly, and you must not give us any of your information. If we
learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete the data
associated with it.
Ages 13–17: you need a parent or guardian's permission
Most of our users are high-school students. If you are under 18, you may only use Admisly
if a parent or legal guardian has read these terms, agreed to them on your behalf, and
given you permission to use the service. By using Admisly while under 18, you are telling
us that this has happened.
A parent or guardian who gives that permission is responsible for the account — including
supervising how it's used and paying for the subscription. If you're a parent and you want
an account closed and its data deleted, email us at
AdmislyEducation@gmail.com and we'll take
care of it.
Everyone
You need to be able to form a binding agreement (or have a parent or guardian do it for
you), and you must give us accurate information when you sign up and when you fill out your
profile. If a school, district, or organization wants to use Admisly for its students,
contact us first — these terms cover individual accounts, not institutional ones.
We're available to international students too. If you use Admisly from outside the United
States, that's your call, and you're responsible for following your own country's laws.
4. Your account
You need an account to use Admisly. Keep your password to yourself, and don't let anyone
else sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think
someone else has gotten into it, email us right away.
We store your password as a salted hash (pbkdf2) — we can't read it, and we'll never ask
you for it. If you sign in with Google, we receive an account identifier from Google
instead of a password. Sessions are kept in a cookie that is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and
Secure.
Accounts are for one person. Don't share a login with friends, siblings,
or a group. If we see a single account being used by several people, we may pause or close it.
For what we collect and why — including your profile, chats, uploads, and essay drafts —
see our Privacy Policy. That policy is part of this agreement.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal
You can create an account for one free AI assessment and a manual application board.
The full Blueprint and ongoing AI tools require Pro. Pro costs $20 per month or $150 per
year, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies where you are.
It renews automatically
Your subscription is a recurring, auto-renewing subscription. At the end
of each billing period — one month or one year, depending on the plan you chose — it
renews for another period at the then-current price, and the card on file is charged
automatically. This keeps happening until you cancel.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time from your account settings inside Admisly, or by emailing
AdmislyEducation@gmail.com. Cancelling
stops all future charges. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period
you already paid for — you don't lose it the moment you cancel — and it does not
renew after that. Cancelling on its own does not produce a refund of the current period;
see section 6.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Checkout.
Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch Admisly's servers.
We keep only the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers so we know your account is
active.
If a payment fails, we may retry it and may pause your Pro access until it goes through.
We can change our prices, but a price change will not apply to a period you've already
paid for, and we'll tell you before it takes effect on a renewal.
6. Refunds
Here's our honest policy: if you're unhappy with a charge, email
AdmislyEducation@gmail.com within 7 days of
that charge and we will review it in good faith. Tell us what happened. If you
barely used the service, if you were charged by mistake, if a renewal caught you off
guard, or if something was broken — those are the cases we expect to refund, and we'd
rather refund you than argue.
What we're not doing is promising something we can't guarantee. We review each request
individually, and a refund is at our discretion. We're less likely to refund heavy use of
a full billing period, or a request that comes in long after the charge. Outside of that
7-day window, payments are generally non-refundable, though you can still write to us.
None of this takes away refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you
live. If your local consumer law gives you more than we offer here, that law wins.
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback
usually gets an account suspended while it's being sorted out, and it's slower than just
asking us.
8. Fair use and limits
AI costs real money to run, and Pro is priced for one student using it seriously — not for
automated or unlimited use. So Admisly applies monthly usage limits to its
AI features. If you hit a limit, the app tells you what the limit was and when it resets,
and you can buy a Boost if you want more room that month.
On top of that, we may throttle, pause, or block AI features on an account that is being
used abusively — scripted or bulk requests, unusual volume, or sharing across many people.
We may also adjust the limits over time. If we change them in a way that materially reduces
what you get for what you pay, we'll tell you.
9. Rules for using Admisly
Don't do any of the following:
- No scraping or automation. Don't crawl, scrape, or use bots, scripts, or automated tools against Admisly, and don't try to extract our prompts, models, or underlying system.
- No account sharing. One account, one person. Don't sell, rent, or lend your login.
- No reselling. Don't resell Admisly, repackage its output as your own counseling or tutoring service, or run a business off a single subscription.
- No deceiving an institution. Don't use anything Admisly produces to mislead a school, college, scholarship committee, or testing organization — including fabricating activities, awards, credentials, recommendations, or circumstances.
- No misusing other people's information. Only upload material you're allowed to upload. Don't upload other people's private information, and don't record a lecture or class where recording isn't permitted.
- Nothing illegal or harmful. No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, malware, or attempts to break, overload, or get around the security of the service.
- No reverse engineering or copying. Don't decompile the service or copy it to build a competing product.
If you break these rules we may warn you, limit your account, or close it — see
section 15.
10. Academic integrity — this one matters
Admisly teaches, explains, and gives feedback on essays. It is not a ghostwriter,
and the work you submit has to be your own.
Every college, scholarship program, teacher, and testing organization sets its own rules
about AI. Some allow it for brainstorming and feedback. Some restrict it. Some require you
to disclose it. Many application forms make you certify that the essay is your own work.
Those rules are yours to find and follow — we can't know them for you, and
following them is your responsibility, not ours.
So: use Admisly to think, plan, outline, get honest feedback, and learn to write better.
Don't paste AI-generated text into an application and call it yours. If a school penalizes,
rejects, or revokes an admission because of how you used AI, that's on you, not on us.
11. Your content, and what we do with it
You own your work
Your essays, drafts, uploads, chat messages, and profile answers are yours.
We don't claim ownership of them, and putting them into Admisly doesn't transfer any rights
in them to us.
The license you give us
To actually run the service, we need permission to handle your content. You grant us a
limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, display, and
process your content, and to send it to the service providers listed in
section 13 — for the sole purpose of providing Admisly to
you: generating your Blueprint, answering your questions, producing notes and
quizzes, giving essay feedback, and keeping your account working. That's the whole scope.
This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups that age
out on their normal schedule.
To provide those features, your profile and your content are sent to Anthropic's Claude
API. Some features also run web searches. We don't sell your content, and we don't show it
to other users.
Output
As between you and us, you're free to use what Admisly generates for you — your plan, your
notes, your feedback — for your own college and academic purposes, subject to
section 10 and section 9. AI output is
not unique to you; other users may receive similar text for similar questions.
What's ours
The Admisly site, software, design, name, and logo belong to us. Using the service doesn't
give you any rights to them.
12. AI limitations, and no professional advice
Admisly's output is generated by AI. It can be wrong. It can invent a
deadline, misstate a school's policy, get a scholarship requirement backwards, or be
confidently out of date. Admissions requirements, test formats, and fee-waiver rules change
constantly, and we don't always know the moment they do.
Verify anything you'd be upset to get wrong — deadlines, application
requirements, course prerequisites, testing policies, financial-aid rules — on the official
website of the college or organization, or with a counselor at your school.
Admisly is general educational guidance. It is not legal advice, financial
or investment advice, tax advice, immigration or visa advice, medical advice, or mental-health
care, and using it doesn't create a professional or counseling relationship between us. For
those things, talk to a licensed professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local
emergency services or a crisis line — Admisly is not an emergency service.
13. Third-party services
Admisly runs on a few outside providers, and using Admisly means your data passes through them:
- Anthropic — the Claude API, which generates plans, answers, notes, and feedback from your profile and content.
- Stripe — payments and subscription management, including card handling.
- Google — optional "Continue with Google" sign-in.
- An email provider — verification and login codes, and the welcome email.
- Web search — used by some features, such as school research, awards, and events.
These providers have their own terms and privacy policies, and we don't control them. We're
also not responsible for third-party websites we link to, or for outages caused by a
provider going down. Admisly is hosted on a single server we operate, and your data is kept
in a server-side datastore there.
14. Changes to Admisly and to these terms
We're a small operation and the product changes often. We may add, change, or remove
features, and we may take the service down for maintenance. We'll try to avoid removing
something you're relying on without notice, but we can't promise every feature will exist
forever.
We may also update these terms. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top,
and for changes that meaningfully affect your rights or your money we'll give you notice by
email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Admisly after a change takes
effect, you're accepting the new terms. If you don't agree with a change, cancel — see
section 5.
15. Ending your account
You can leave any time. Cancel your subscription in your account settings,
and email us if you also want the account and its data deleted.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — especially the rules in
section 9 and section 10 — or that we
reasonably believe is being used fraudulently or to harm someone. Where it's fair to do so,
we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close a paid account for a
reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
We may also discontinue Admisly entirely. If that happens, we'll give you reasonable notice,
a way to export your work, and a pro-rated refund of any period you've paid for but can't use.
Sections 11 (the license and ownership), 12, 16, 17, 18, and 19 survive the end of your account.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
Admisly is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent
allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that AI
output will be accurate, current, or complete, or that using Admisly will improve your
grades, scores, applications, or chances of admission anywhere.
Some places don't allow these disclaimers. If yours doesn't, this section applies to you
only as far as the law allows.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost
data, or — to be specific about the thing that matters here — an admission
decision, a scholarship decision, or any academic outcome, whether or not we were
told those were possible.
Our total liability to you for any and all claims relating to Admisly is capped at
the total amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to
the claim. If you haven't paid us anything in that period, our total liability is
zero.
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law — for example, our own fraud or
gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. If your local law
doesn't allow some of these limits, they apply to you only as far as it does.
18. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quant Terminal LLC and the people who work
on Admisly from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising out of your use
of the service, your content, your breach of these terms, or your violation of someone
else's rights or of any school's or institution's rules. If you're under 18, the parent or
guardian who agreed to these terms takes on this obligation.
We'll tell you promptly about any claim covered by this, and you can't settle anything that
imposes an obligation on us without our agreement.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States (where
Quant Terminal LLC is organized), without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any
dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and both of us agree to those
courts having jurisdiction — except that you may always bring a qualifying claim in small
claims court.
If you live somewhere whose consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue locally or
applies regardless of this section, that law still applies to you.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing
something right away doesn't mean we've given it up. These terms, plus our Privacy Policy,
are the whole agreement between us about Admisly.
